Job Description
Accountant handling bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and financial compliance for Openwave. Collaborating with stakeholders for audit support and financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Maintain general ledger and ensure proper account classification.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Monitor prepaid expenses, provisions, and fixed assets.
- Verify and book vendor invoices with appropriate approvals.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Support GST, TDS, STPI PF, PT, and Income Tax compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP/accounting software (NetSuite/SAP/Tally etc.)
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
