Job Description

Remote PMHNP prescribing psychiatric medications and coordinating treatment for oncology patients. Maintaining clinical documentation and collaborating with Adjuvant Behavioral Health staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Prescribe medication to patients to assist with dependencies, life adjustment, or psychiatric well-being
  • Prepare and maintain treatment records and reports for Joint Commission accreditation, insurance payers, and Adjuvant Behavioral Health operations
  • Evaluate clients' physical or mental condition based on client information
  • Collaborate with staff on clinical assessments and treatment plans
  • Refer patients, clients, or family members to ABH IOP, community resources, or specialists as necessary
  • Modify treatment activities or approaches based on changes in clients' status
  • Complete administrative documentation for every client, including intake notes, progress notes, lab orders, and e-prescribing documentation
  • Coordinate prescriptive clinical services with Adjuvant’s clinical guidance
  • Report to the ABH Supervising Psychiatrist

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited educational institution
  • ANCC - Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (PMHNP) certification
  • Hold a valid DEA
  • Preferred: NP or APRN with PMHNP certification (Psych/Mental Cert)
