Job Description
Telemedicine intensivist APP providing virtual ICU care for acutely ill and medically complex patients. Exceed Medical expands healthcare access through technology-driven virtual care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to acutely ill and/or medically complex intensive care unit patients via telemedicine
- Work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Work across multiple sites/locations
- Work with multiple EHR/EMR systems
- Work night shifts
Requirements:
- Must be a board certified and licensed Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant/Associate
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Required two (2) years of experience working in a critical care setting as an Advanced Practice Provider; five (5) years preferred
- Strong working knowledge of critical care medicine, including fluid resuscitation, vasopressors, hemodynamic monitoring, and mechanical ventilation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Competence with computer skills and navigating various electronic medical records
- Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
