Job Description
Lead AI & Automation transition for MarcoPolo Learning, focusing on automated systems and AI integration in early childhood education. Work directly with CEO to build better operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
- Own the design and implementation of AI and automation systems across the business
- Transition to an automated, AI-powered company
- Build systems that reduce the need for large teams
- Replace manual CSV workflows with live usage dashboards
- Build a fully automated sign-up-to-activation-to-conversion experience using the Audrey AI agent
- Design and run automated social media and campaign pipelines
- Use AI to produce printables, educator guides, and supplemental materials
- Track sales, follow up on tasks, and generate renewal alerts
- Work with the engineering team to ensure the right data is available
- Stay current on the AI landscape and recommend new tools.
Requirements:
- 3–8 years of experience in software development, product, or technical operations
- At least 2 years working directly with LLMs and AI tools at an integration level — not just as an end user
- Proven experience building AI agents or multi-step agentic workflows (LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or equivalent)
- Hands-on proficiency with at least one automation platform: n8n, Make (Integromat), or Zapier at a workflow-design level
- Experience working with APIs, webhooks, and lightweight data pipelines independently
- Strong business judgment — you can identify which automations are worth building and scope them clearly
- A portfolio or examples of AI systems you have actually shipped.
