Job Description
AI-Driven DevOps Engineer at Cyprus-based fintech company improving software delivery and engineering productivity with AI tools. Collaborating within a remote team to drive innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the adoption of AI-powered tools and practices across DevOps and engineering workflows.
- Design, prototype, and implement AI-enabled solutions for infrastructure automation, deployment processes, incident investigation, monitoring, documentation, and operational efficiency.
- Explore practical applications of LLMs, AI agents, and AI-assisted development tools in DevOps environments.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated deployment processes.
- Develop, support, and improve CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery.
- Develop and maintain containerised application platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Support and evolve monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks and improve engineering workflows.
- Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and the implementation of long-term reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, cross-functional teams, and external contractors to improve delivery and operational processes.
- Maintain technical documentation for DevOps and AI-enabled solutions.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of commercial experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or a similar role.
- A strong, genuine interest in AI in DevOps, with a clear understanding of how AI can improve engineering productivity, automation, observability, reliability, and incident management.
- Hands-on experience building, supporting, or experimenting with AI-related projects-professional, personal, open-source, or otherwise.
- Curiosity and initiative to continuously test emerging AI tools, models, frameworks, and agent-based workflows.
- Strong understanding of DevOps fundamentals: automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, reliability, security, and continuous improvement.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerised environments.
- Experience designing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with configuration automation and Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar solutions.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or a similar language.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting practices and tools. (Zabbix, Grafana, Opensearch, Vector)
- Understanding of application deployment, release management, networking fundamentals, and secure engineering practices.
- Experience supporting application databases from a DevOps perspective, including monitoring and performance troubleshooting for PostgreSQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Native-level Russian proficiency.
