Job Description
DevOps graduate building AWS/Azure infrastructure, GitHub Actions pipelines, and monitoring for ConsenSys blockchain infrastructure. Learning alongside experienced engineers in a fully remote global team.
Responsibilities:
- Build and improve code, infrastructure and processes to help Java developers work faster
- Build cloud deployment solutions for AWS and Azure
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions
- Set up monitoring and tracking tools for developer teams
- Participate daily in an agile, often multinational scrum team delivering production software
- Gradually take ownership of infrastructure and operational responsibilities
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related discipline
- Teamwork, flexibility, initiative, communication and organization
- Willingness to constantly learn and improve
- Ability to document or implement improvements to troubleshooting documentation or software
- Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks
- Experience in Systems Engineering on Linux/Unix Systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Experience with Kubernetes (bonus)
- Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud (bonus)
- Experience with Ansible, Chef or equivalent automation systems (bonus)
- Understanding of blockchain technology, especially Ethereum (bonus)
