Job Description
Swahili AI contributor network supporting Welo Data’s global AI data projects. Annotating content, evaluating outputs, and creating prompts on flexible remote assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Join Welo Data’s global contributor network
- Annotate or label text, images, or audio to train AI systems
- Evaluate search results, ads, or chatbot responses for quality and relevance
- Create and test prompts to improve large language models (LLMs)
- Ensure content reflects cultural, linguistic, or industry-specific accuracy
- Review project scope, timelines, and compensation before deciding whether to participate
Requirements:
- Native or near-native fluency in Swahili
- Based in Kenya, Tanzania, or The Democratic Republic of Congo
- English proficiency
- Comfortable with digital tools
- Detail-oriented and curious
