Job Description
Application Development Engineer designing and implementing custom enterprise software solutions for Centene while collaborating with technical and non-technical roles.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops and implements custom enterprise software solutions
- Collaborates closely with technical and non-technical roles such as data modelers, architects, business analysts, data stewards, and subject matter experts (SMEs)
- Develops custom software modules at various levels of complexity
- Develops efficient code in various development languages for enhancements and bug fixes
- Executes against project plans and delivers assignments within scope, schedule, and budget
- Creates, executes, and evaluates unit/integration tests
- Identifies and resolves problems, often anticipating issues before they occur
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science)
- 2 – 4 years of related experience
- One or more of the following skills are desired: React, Docker, Kubernetes
