Job Description
Senior Application Engineer designing and building internal tools for Phantom's operations. Utilizing AI to automate workflows and enhance infrastructure management.
Responsibilities:
- Build internal tools that automate how Phantom operates day-to-day
- Use AI/LLMs to replace repetitive workflows across teams
- Own identity and access systems (provisioning, permissions, lifecycle)
- Improve device management and endpoint infrastructure (macOS fleet, configs, enforcement)
- Integrate and extend our SaaS stack so systems actually talk to each other
- Partner with security to make systems both safe *and* usable
- Take full ownership of what you build — from design to long-term maintenance
Requirements:
- 7+ years in IT engineering, platform engineering, or similar roles
- Experience with some combination of:
- Identity providers (Okta preferred)
- MDM / endpoint management (Kandji, Fleet, etc.)
- SaaS integrations and automation
- AI/LLM tooling in real workflows
- Security or compliance-adjacent systems
- Bonus: You've built AI-powered internal tools or automations
- Bonus: Interest in crypto / fintech / high-security systems
