Job Description
Partner in software development and technology delivery for VSP Vision's business needs. Involves coding, testing, implementation, and solution design for business problems.
Responsibilities:
- Partner in the development, testing and implementation, and technology delivery for business needs throughout the company
- Partner in the coding/development/maintenance, testing and implementation of systems
- Partner in the design of solutions to solve business problems while learning the business functions supported by the system
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; in lieu of degree 4 years functional experience
- Programming experience in one or more current programming languages
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for simple problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
