Job Description
Associate Therapist providing telehealth therapy to Medicaid members through Third Space Therapy. Managing flexible caseloads with administrative support and supervision toward independent licensure.
Responsibilities:
- Provide telehealth therapy to the Medicaid population
- Focus on clinical care while the company handles billing, insurance, and credentialing
- Set personal hours and availability and choose which referrals to accept
- Build a diverse caseload through the company’s referral network
- Work with an independently licensed supervisor and accrue hours toward full licensure
- Conduct mental health assessments
- Apply knowledge of mental health diagnoses
- Craft effective, personalized treatment plans
- Collaborate with clients to achieve their goals
- Conduct thorough assessments to inform care strategies
Requirements:
- Valid LAC or LMS license in good standing in the state of Arizona
- Master’s degree in Counseling
- At least 6 months of hands-on therapy or assessment experience
- Own malpractice coverage ($1M per occurrence / $3M aggregate)
- Comfort with EHR systems and other digital tools
- Quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office
- Own computer and reliable internet for confidential virtual sessions
- Fluency in English
- Spanish proficiency preferred; additional languages are a plus
- Currently working toward independent licensure
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Currently located in Arizona
