Job Description
QA Consultant specializing in transitioning test automation framework from Leapwork to Playwright. Requires strong expertise in Playwright and software testing principles.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the migration of automation frameworks from Leapwork to Playwright
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
- Analyze existing Leapwork test cases and convert them into scalable Playwright scripts
- Ensure test coverage for functional, regression, and end-to-end scenarios
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and testing needs
- Identify opportunities to improve test automation processes and frameworks
- Execute manual and automated testing as required
- Debug and resolve issues across automation and application layers
- Maintain documentation for test scripts, frameworks, and migration processes
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (must-have)
- Experience in test automation framework migration (Leapwork or similar tools)
- Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript for automation scripting
- Experience in API and UI testing
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git)
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
