Job Description
Azure Platform Engineer focusing on developing cloud-native solutions using Azure technologies. Collaborating in a people-first culture that promotes well-being and continuous learning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cloud-native applications and deployments on Azure
- Collaborate with self-organised teams on projects
- Ensure adherence to security best practices in application development and deployment
- Participate in tech team meetings for continuous learning and process improvements
Requirements:
- Strong foundation in software engineering principles and practices
- Extensive experience with the Azure cloud platform, and Azure solution architecture and best practices
- Strong understanding of both infrastructure and software engineering principles, with a focus on cloud-native technologies and Kubernetes
- Experience in finops and Qlik/Linux
- Experience with open-source tools and technologies commonly used in Kubernetes environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps principles
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Go, C#, Python, Javascript)
- Experience with scripting languages: Bash or Shell
- Understanding of user experience (UX) and developer experience (DevX) principles
- Strong understanding of security best practices and zero-trust principles
- English fluency
