Job Description

Software Solutions Engineer focusing on deploying VaultOS Power Plant Controller in Australia. Collaborating with global teams to develop utility-scale energy storage systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and understand the latest BESS standards for safety and performance.
  • Manage our third party consultants for compliance reviews and bankability reports.
  • Advise the product design team on compliance requirements during the design phase.
  • Review design documentation and compile internal compliance reports to confirm compliance.
  • Collaborate with the design team to continually improve our product design.
  • Travel to our manufacturing facilities in China to inspect prototype products to verify compliance.
  • Travel to our certification facility in China to oversee certification tests to ensure the agency accurately follows the applicable standards.
  • Keep up to date on the latest developments in BESS safety and performance to ensure Energy Vault products are state-of-the-art.

Requirements:

  • Electrical engineering degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the BESS industry.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience with design standards for BESS products and projects.
  • Experience in utility scale BESS product design and delivery.
  • Experience with modular structures is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, up to 50% of the time during periods of certification and testing.
  • Chinese language skills are a strong advantage for this role.
