Job Description

Bilingual clinical psychologist providing Spanish teletherapy for older adults. Sailor Health supports aging through Medicare-covered therapy, care navigation, and healthcare advocacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to Spanish-speaking older adults virtually
  • Conduct therapy sessions fluently in Spanish within patients' language and cultural context
  • Design personalized treatment plans
  • Work independently within a collaborative care team
  • Manage documentation using the EMR and AI documentation tools
  • Participate in regular paid case consultations
  • Provide care through Medicare-covered therapy, supported by care navigators and healthcare advocates

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program
  • Active, independent license to practice psychology in California
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, able to conduct full therapy sessions in Spanish
  • Experience working with older adults, seniors, or geriatric populations preferred
  • Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
  • Medicare billing experience a plus
  • Available for at least 15 weekly sessions
  • Must be able to work on a 1099 or W2 basis depending on schedule
  • Resume required
  • Mental health license type and number required
  • States where licensed required
