Job Description
Bilingual psychologist providing evidence-based Spanish-language teletherapy for older adults. Sailor Health supports aging through Medicare-covered therapy, care navigation, and healthcare advocacy.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to Spanish-speaking older adults virtually
- Conduct therapy sessions fluently in Spanish within patients’ language and cultural context
- Design personalized treatment plans for each patient
- Work independently as part of a collaborative care team
- Manage documentation using the EMR and AI documentation tools
- Participate in regular paid case consultations
- Build a caseload of at least 15 weekly sessions
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program
- Active, independent license to practice psychology in Texas
- Fluent in both English and Spanish; able to conduct full therapy sessions in Spanish
- Experience working with older adults, seniors, or geriatric populations preferred
- Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Medicare billing experience a plus
- Available to provide at least 15 weekly sessions
- Must work on a flexible, fee-for-service basis
- 1099 clinicians start at 15 hours per week or W2 clinicians at 25 hours per week
