CAD Designer producing security system drawings for Outsourcey, a BPO. Engage in documentation and collaborate with project teams remotely.

Produce detailed security system shop drawings and as-built documentation
Develop accurate Level 1 CAD drawings based on templates, sketches, and marked-up plans
Create precise camera field-of-view layouts, accounting for physical obstructions (e.g., walls, structures, elevations)
Update and revise drawings based on redlines and change requests
Apply standard symbols, layers, line weights, and title blocks in accordance with company standards
Maintain drawing registers, version control, and document management protocols
Prepare drawings for internal review and client submission
Support documentation packs including equipment schedules and installation layouts
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and technical stakeholders for clarification where required
Assist with Bills of Materials (BOM) alignment to drawings
Ensure all deliverables meet agreed turnaround times and quality benchmarks

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a CAD drafting role (security systems experience preferred)
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (essential)
Demonstrated experience producing security system shop drawings and as-builts
Practical knowledge of security hardware including card readers, access control systems, locks, CCTV cameras, and related infrastructure
Ability to accurately model camera fields of view considering site constraints and physical barriers
Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and equipment schedules.
