Job Description
Senior Interaction Designer with GDS Beta delivery experience working with multidisciplinary teams to support complex projects. Engaged in critical programmes driving meaningful societal impact.
Responsibilities:
- Work with our multidisciplinary project team on the design of one of our most critical and visible programmes
- Act as a trusted point of contact for the client
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams on problems that are often complex, sensitive and fast‑moving
- Support the programme through a GDS Beta Assessment — making the right calls at the right time
- Clearly articulate design insights and have confident, informed conversations with senior stakeholders and the wider UCD team
Requirements:
- Significant experience with Interaction Design within GDS projects
- Proven involvement in GDS Assessments, ideally at Beta stage
- Demonstrable Experience with Figma
- Experience using Figma Make and/or other AI design tools
- Experience working within multidisciplinary delivery teams
- Eligibility for UK Security Clearance and NPPV3
- Demonstrable experience working with complex stakeholder groups, navigating ambiguity and competing priorities
- Experience working within Home Office, Bluelight, Public Safety or Justice contexts
