Job Description

Independently licensed therapist providing virtual behavioral health for children and adolescents through TimelyCare. Delivering evidence-based assessment, treatment, crisis intervention, and care coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide contracted virtual therapy services to children and adolescents ages 5–17+
  • Provide evidence-based therapy, clinical assessment, diagnosis, case conceptualization, and treatment planning
  • Develop individualized care plans based on developmental, behavioral, and emotional needs and treatment goals
  • Use measurement-based care by reviewing validated clinical measures, guiding care planning, and monitoring progress
  • Deliver virtual sessions using CBT, DBT, MI, ACT, TF-CBT, PCIT, and other appropriate modalities
  • Identify safety concerns, complete safety planning, and provide crisis intervention or escalation when necessary
  • Coordinate care with parents, guardians, educational professionals, and other appropriate parties
  • Complete timely, accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation in TimelyCare’s electronic health record
  • Maintain treatment goals and documentation according to professional, ethical, regulatory, and clinical standards
  • Exercise independent professional judgment within licensure, applicable law, contractor obligations, and platform standards
  • Conduct generally 55-minute therapy appointments, with remaining time available for documentation
  • Maintain professional boundaries through the TimelyCare platform

Requirements:

  • Active, unrestricted independent clinical licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor or equivalent independent counselor license (LPC, LCPC, LMHC)
  • Active, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure
  • Active, unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) licensure
  • Active, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Psychologist licensure (Ph.D. or Psy.D.; LP/LCP as applicable)
  • Authorization to independently provide clinical services within the applicable state
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation, and active listening skills
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
  • Ability to assess and respond to safety concerns, including crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning
  • Associate or provisionally licensed therapists, school psychologists, and school counselors without a clinical therapist license are not eligible
  • Preferred: Experience providing pediatric or adolescent behavioral health services through telehealth, school-based programs, outpatient mental health, or community mental health settings
  • Preferred: Experience or certification in evidence-based pediatric and adolescent treatment modalities such as TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, PCIT, Parent Management Training, or trauma-informed care
  • Preferred: Familiarity with family systems and developmentally appropriate clinical interventions
  • Valid U.S. work authorization; TimelyCare is unable to offer sponsorship
