Job Description
Cloud Application Architect architecting enterprise-class software applications at GDIT. Collaborating with Agile development teams and leveraging cloud software architecture expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Architect the modernization of enterprise-class software applications
- Work in coordination with Agile development teams
- Architect, design, build, migrate, expand, automate, and sustain a multi-tenant cloud platform/enterprise
- Leverage experience in cloud software architecture to direct the development of solutions
- Maintain integrity and security of systems
- Support and develop automation
- Collaborate with teams of UI/UX designers, cloud engineers, architects, and DevOps teams
Requirements:
- 10+ years of related experience in software engineering
- Development experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, Bash, Python, Node.js, and React.js
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform and/or CloudFormation
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
- Designed and implemented Lambda microservices in a multi-tenant environment
- Designed and implemented CI/CD tools (GitLab)
- Expert knowledge of Linux OS
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience delivering presentations
