Job Description
Cloud Engineer securing and automating Azure and GCP infrastructure for a global digital product development firm. Supporting DevOps, AI agents, retrieval systems, and RAG applications.
Responsibilities:
- Build, secure, and maintain cloud infrastructure across multiple environments
- Implement and manage security controls, compliance standards, and best practices
- Integrate cloud services with software applications in collaboration with engineering teams
- Support DevOps processes including CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and deployment
- Collaborate using modern AI tools and pair program with LLMs
- Contribute to development and deployment of production-ready software solutions
- Assist in building and supporting AI agents, retrieval systems, and RAG-based applications
- Review security compliance and performance
- Participate in one-week in-person sprints two or three times per year
- Attend company-sponsored local meetups
Requirements:
- 1+ year of proven experience as an Azure and GCP Engineer
- Experience with infrastructure automation, deployment, and operations
- Understanding of cloud security principles and security compliance frameworks
- Experience in Infrastructure, Cloud Security, and DevOps practices
- Ability to work collaboratively and leverage LLMs/AI-assisted development tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to design, build, and deliver software solutions independently
- Good communication skills
- Ability to write software and deploy applications to production environments
- Experience building AI Agents
- Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
- Knowledge of Retrieval Agents and AI-powered workflows
