Job Description
Cloud Network Engineer III supporting multi-cloud infrastructure as part of a healthcare technology team. Responsible for documentation, development, and maintenance of cloud implementations.
Responsibilities:
- Engineering and support of multi-cloud and on-premises infrastructure
- Observability and reporting of network related infrastructure
- Working in AWS CLI and GitLab to orchestrate builds
- Monitoring JIRA throughout the sprint cycle
- Participate in daily stand ups and status check in meetings
- Builds and maintain infrastructure as code
- Read and understand system and functional requirements
- Writes technical specifications and thorough documentation of work
- Reports on gaps in requirements for Technical Leads and Cloud Architects
- Accurately scopes project time and resources required to complete projects
- Reviews project scope and timeline estimates with senior staff
- Collaboration with Cloud Architects and business partners to confirm time and resource estimates
- Consults with Cloud Architects on testing plans and resolving/debugging errors
- Support escalation incidents and support on-call duty requirements
- Working and collaborating in a predominantly remote workplace
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in relevant work experience
- 5 - 7 years of progressive work experience with cloud implementations and infrastructure as code
- 4+ years hands on AWS experience
- 3+ years’ experience with Palo Alto firewalls
- Experience with F5 LTM CCSP, AWS Cloud, F5, Palo Alto certifications a plus
- Experience with IPSec VPN Dynamic Routing, Load Balancing, Network Access Control, Wireless, Zone Based Firewall
- Experience working with Product and Business Management teams a plus
- Knowledge, skills, and experience to write detailed technical documentation
- Skilled in IAC, Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
- Experience with CICD tooling such as Gitlab, Jenkins, etc.
- Scripting such as BASH and Python
- Knowledge of development methodologies (primarily Agile/Scrum)
- Experience with AWS and common AWS services
- Experience with monitoring and logging solutions
- Must be comfortable with Git.
