Job Description
Commercial Pricing Actuary at Applied Underwriters utilizing experience in insurance pricing models. Responsible for mentoring and providing insights to stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize rich experience of commercial lines ratemaking and understanding of pricing models
- Provide insights and guidance to various stakeholders
- Mentor staff
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in Property and Casualty insurance industry
- Has exposures to various commercial lines’ ratemaking and large risk underwriting, including E&S
- Deep understanding of pricing models and modeling techniques
- Strong mentoring ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
- FCAS or ACAS
- Bachelor’s degree
