Job Description

Compliance Director at Fulton Bank, designing and implementing compliance risk management strategies. Leading compliance team and ensuring effective operational compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement compliance risk management strategies
  • Oversee development of tactical plans aligning with strategic objectives
  • Design and coordinate strategies ensuring effective compliance program performance across enterprise
  • Develop strategies and oversee compliance services delivery
  • Implement internal controls, governance and standards
  • Prepare and present reports on compliance program activities to governing bodies
  • Provide advice on compliance management systems, regulatory requirements, and compliance risks
  • Interact with business leadership to support compliance risk management
  • Manage team and third-party service providers
  • Ensure adherence to communication, documentation, and reporting standards
  • Recruit, hire and retain employees, managing performance and development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or other applicable field
  • 10 or more years banking, financial or insurance services, risk management, information technology, software development, systems/network administration, legal, regulatory, compliance or audit (Required)
  • 2 or more years digital, technology, management information systems, data science, data management, data analysis (Preferred)
  • 1 or more years experience implementing operational or compliance controls to achieve business outcomes, project management experience in a highly-regulated industry (Preferred)
  • 3 or more years supervisory or management experience (Required)
  • CRCM or other relevant certification/credentials before or within 12 months following incumbency (Required)
