Job Description

Content Creator developing photos, videos, and tutorials for sewing and quilting tools. Collaborating with marketing team to drive audience engagement across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling visual content that showcases our products, educates our audience, and drives engagement across organic and paid channels.
  • Produce high-quality photos, videos, tutorials, and social content.
  • Collaborate closely with our Social Media Manager, Content Manager, and Paid Acquisition Manager.
  • Produce content daily, filming tutorials, shooting product photography, and editing videos for multiple platforms.
  • Film and edit full-length tutorials demonstrating product usage and techniques.
  • Create short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Source and coordinate user-generated content from our community.

Requirements:

  • Critical Requirement: You must have sewing or quilting knowledge.
  • Must-Have Experience Sewing/quilting knowledge—personal experience with sewing, quilting, or related fiber arts
  • 2+ years of content creation experience—portfolio demonstrating photography and/or video production
  • Video production skills—filming, lighting, editing, and post-production
  • Proficiency with video editing software—CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
  • Photo editing skills and proficiency with editing software—Adobe Lightroom, Affinity Photo, Capture One, or similar.
  • On-camera comfort—willing and able to appear in videos and tutorials
  • Understanding of social media formats—what works on Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube
  • Own equipment or access to quality camera/lighting setup
  • Excellent English communication skills—written and spoken
  • Self-motivated and organized—comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision
