Job Description
Corporate Designer evaluating and refining AI-generated decks, documents, spreadsheets, and PDFs. Improving layout, typography, realism, and polish for Mercor’s frontier AI training projects.
Responsibilities:
- Compare AI-generated versions of the same deliverable
- Score deliverables across layout and spacing, typography, colour, domain realism, and polish
- Rework the strongest candidate to reference quality
- Provide clear justifications tied to specific layout evidence, including alignment, spacing, balance, grouping, and density
- Apply design judgment to real corporate client materials
- Contribute human expertise to training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- Background as a designer, marketing/comms professional, or knowledge-work specialist
- Experience in management consulting, investment banking, in-house corporate design, agency work, or marcom is suitable
- Ability to identify subtle layout inconsistencies, including alignment gaps, unequal card heights, dead space, and margin discipline
- Strong design judgment regarding business deliverables
- Ability to articulate design judgments in writing
- Submit a resume
- Complete the Corporate Designer calibration assessment (approximately 45 minutes)
- Approximately 15 hours per week commitment
- Must work as an independent contractor
- H-1B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
