Job Description
Crisis Line Clinician providing trauma-informed phone support through Compass Health Network’s Disaster Line. Assessing safety, connecting callers to resources, and coordinating care for Missouri communities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide trauma-informed and person-centered crisis intervention via phone
- Assess caller needs, screen for safety, and connect callers to appropriate services or resources
- Collaborate with internal and external providers to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency standards
- Participate in supervision and team meetings to support continuous improvement
- Support individuals in rural communities and ensure access to care through the Disaster Line
Requirements:
- Associate degree or completion of 60 college credit hours required
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or related field preferred
- At least one (1) year of experience in behavioral health or human services if Associate degree is the highest degree obtained
- Working knowledge of DSM-V required
- Active listening and empathetic, professional communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive team
- Passion for helping individuals through moments of crisis
- Missouri residency required
