Job Description

Crisis Line Clinician providing trauma-informed phone support through Compass Health Network’s Disaster Line. Assessing safety, connecting callers to resources, and coordinating care for Missouri communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide trauma-informed and person-centered crisis intervention via phone
  • Assess caller needs, screen for safety, and connect callers to appropriate services or resources
  • Collaborate with internal and external providers to ensure coordinated care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency standards
  • Participate in supervision and team meetings to support continuous improvement
  • Support individuals in rural communities and ensure access to care through the Disaster Line

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or completion of 60 college credit hours required
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or related field preferred
  • At least one (1) year of experience in behavioral health or human services if Associate degree is the highest degree obtained
  • Working knowledge of DSM-V required
  • Active listening and empathetic, professional communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive team
  • Passion for helping individuals through moments of crisis
  • Missouri residency required
