Job Description

Data and Business Analyst building predictive models, dashboards, and recommendations. Supporting Fortive’s global EHSQ software business with strategic and operational analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and contribute to the development of scalable data tools that improve how data is transformed, managed, and accessed, reducing time to insight
  • Build predictive and forecasting models to support revenue growth, marketing effectiveness, and improved customer experiences
  • Lead analytics and modeling projects that translate organizational data into clear, data-driven recommendations
  • Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports aligned to key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Implement modern tools and techniques to analyze, visualize, and communicate data trends effectively
  • Partner with business teams to support operational improvements and growth initiatives, defining measurable outcomes
  • Prepare executive-level summaries and detailed analytical reports, including clear written insights and visual storytelling
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, including options and trade-offs
  • Collaborate with Finance and executive stakeholders to support recurring business review and planning cycles
  • Contribute to additional analytics initiatives as business needs evolve

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be currently based in Brazil
  • Documentation to verify location and work eligibility will be requested during the hiring process
  • 4–5 years of experience using SQL for data extraction and transformation, and Python for advanced analytics, automation, or modeling
  • Hands-on experience with forecasting and predictive modeling to support strategic decision-making
  • Experience working with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, including star and snowflake schemas, and normalized vs. denormalized designs
  • Advanced proficiency with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, including best practices for data storytelling
  • Proven ability to lead analytics projects end-to-end—from business requirements through analysis, insights, and executive recommendations
  • Experience delivering measurable business impact through analytics, reporting, revenue operations, or related roles
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
  • Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce (nice-to-have)
  • Familiarity with automated data pipelines or reporting automation (nice-to-have)
  • Experience supporting executive or board-level reporting (nice-to-have)
