Job Description
Data Conversion Developer writing data conversion code to migrate clients to TaxSys software using Perl and SQL. Collaborating within an agile team to deliver error-free client data.
Responsibilities:
- Write data conversion code to migrate clients to our TaxSys software using modern Perl and SQL on a Linux / MySQL platform.
- Debug data, combining technical skills with domain knowledge to track down errors in clients’ data.
- Collaborate with a data analyst to validate converted data and gather feedback from clients on each conversion.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in writing production-quality code (Perl experience preferred).
- Thorough knowledge of relational databases and SQL (MySQL experience a bonus).
- Experience in Linux, BASH shell scripting, Makefiles, Docker or alternatives for container management is a plus.
