Job Description
Remote Real World Data Programmer preparing healthcare claims and EMR datasets for ICON Strategic Solutions. Supporting real-world evidence research through SQL, R, data transformation, and dashboards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide programming and analytics support for real world evidence generation, including analytics, research, and dashboard creation
- Program and manage real-world healthcare datasets, including healthcare claims data and EMR data
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and normalization prior to analysis
- Translate raw data into analysis-ready datasets
- Create and maintain data dictionaries and programming documentation
- Support internal research teams with hands-on analyst and programming support
- Contribute to broader analytics efforts as needed
Requirements:
- Advanced degree, PhD, in quantitative field with 3+ years of experience (e.g. statistics, epidemiology, public health) or a Master's degree in analytics related field with 7+ years of experience in real world data and real-world evidence generation
- Strong programming experience (SQL and R)
- Direct experience programming Real-World Data (RWD)
- Hands-on experience with healthcare claims data
- Experience working with EMR data
- Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
