Job Description
Engineering services intern completing projects and assignments at GE Vernova, an energy technology company. Developing leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills over 12 weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the 12-week GE Vernova Internship Program within the Service function
- Complete assignments, projects, and tasks related to the intern's major
- Develop leadership capabilities and communication skills through on-the-job knowledge and experience
- Gain exposure to the work environment
- Work toward project goals and customer satisfaction
- Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Work in harsh environments as needed
Requirements:
- Student in Engineering degree or similar
- Program duration is 12 weeks (3 months)
- Active listener with good communication skills in English
- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Proactive with high level of integrity
- Strives to achieve Project goals and Customer satisfaction
- A team player with the ability to communicate effectively with crosses functional teams
- Displays willingness to work in harsh environments on as needed basis
- Demonstrated EHS and Quality focus
- Demonstrated leadership potential
- Record of achievement with a passion to achieve positive business results
- Curiosity and desire to learn and expand skill set
