Job Description
Coordenador de Engenharia de Dados liderando arquitetura, governança e equipe de dados da Sólides. Empresa brasileira de tecnologia para gestão integrada de pessoas.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the Data Engineering team, ensuring alignment, prioritization, and continuous delivery
- Serve as a technical reference, supporting decisions on architecture, standards, and best practices
- Develop the team through feedback, technical guidance, and career development support
- Organize the technical backlog, follow-up rituals, and alignment with the Head of Data
- Lead the implementation and evolution of modern data architectures, ensuring scalability, performance, and governance
- Define and maintain engineering standards for data ingestion, transformation, versioning, and publishing
- Ensure the efficient integration of data from multiple internal and external sources
- Support the development and dissemination of an engineering and data culture at Sólides
Requirements:
- Solid experience in Data Engineering, working in production and scalable environments
- Previous experience in technical leadership, coordination, or serving as a senior technical reference
- Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with Python
- Experience with PySpark and cloud data platforms, such as Databricks or Lakehouse environments
- Experience with pipeline orchestration (Airflow, dbt, or similar tools)
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and support for analytical layers
- Experience with software engineering best practices applied to data (testing, version control, and CI/CD)
- Knowledge of modern data architectures, governance, security, and privacy
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
- Analytical and pragmatic mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and results orientation
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
