Job Description

Data Processor indexing and verifying legal land-record documents for Neumo, a government-services support company. Maintaining accuracy, quotas, and customer-specific processing guidelines remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Index and verify documents efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure documents meet high-quality standards
  • Switch between unique customer accounts without mixing guidelines
  • Work with team leads or managers to complete assigned tasks on time
  • Ask questions and seek guidance as needed
  • Support other projects such as document QC and image tagging when indexing work is complete
  • Complete indexing projects within agreed timelines while maintaining a document-per-hour quota
  • Maintain less than a 2% error rate in document indexing and verification
  • Achieve positive customer feedback and correct customer-reported indexing errors
  • Maintain 100% accuracy in work-completion reports and logs
  • Perform other duties assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 years' experience indexing land records or comparable skillset required
  • Existing knowledge of land records
  • Proofreading skills to interpret legal documents and extract pertinent information
  • Fast typing skills
  • Computer competency
  • Strong ability to use computers and learn new software and interfaces
  • Working knowledge of land records and legal-document interpretation for indexing
  • Strong written communication and ability to collaborate with a remote team
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and think critically to solve problems
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with commitment to high-quality standards
  • Basic understanding of digital imaging concepts preferred (file types, resolution, aspect ratio, etc.)
  • Proper distraction-free workspace with access to high-speed internet
  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods
  • Regular use of a computer and office machinery
  • Frequent communication via telephone or video
