Job Description

Dealer Development Representative growing Fifth Third Bank’s indirect-lending volume across New Jersey and New York. Building dealership partnerships, training personnel, structuring deals, and managing dealer accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and grow volume within an assigned territory
  • Maximize Fifth Third’s market penetration
  • Provide remote customer service and training to dealership personnel
  • Maintain and collect dealer accounts, including negative reserves and drafts
  • Develop and maintain volume levels aligned with territory objectives
  • Track applications, approvals, bookings, and submission/paperwork quality
  • Identify and close strategic dealer partners
  • Liaise between dealers and Fifth Third departments
  • Build dealership personnel relationships through training, deal structuring, credit involvement, paperwork assistance, and working deals
  • Gather and analyze market data and provide competitive intelligence
  • Participate in pricing decisions
  • Maintain relationships with Dealer Principals and key dealership personnel by telephone and periodic territory travel
  • Support cross-sell opportunities
  • Identify and implement marketing opportunities and programs
  • Complete required reports and administrative duties
  • Identify quality personnel for potential Fifth Third employment
  • Manage risk by identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting risks while following bank policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • High School diploma required or equivalent
  • Some college preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years Consumer Indirect Lending or related field experience
  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Ability to work effectively with outside customers to resolve issues within Fifth Third guidelines, policies, and programs
  • Solid time and territory management skills
  • Ability to travel periodically within the assigned territory
