Job Description

DevOps Engineer building scalable AWS/Azure CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. Managing Kubernetes, IaC, monitoring, security, and deployment automation for IT services.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain highly scalable, distributed, cloud-based CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions
  • Implement end-to-end DevOps solutions, including build automation, release management, and deployment pipelines in AWS/Azure
  • Translate complex functional and technical requirements into CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure designs
  • Implement blue-green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies
  • Design and manage cloud security, IAM roles, secrets management, and access controls
  • Provision, migrate, monitor, troubleshoot, and tune cloud infrastructure and production environments
  • Manage containerized and orchestrated workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Configure monitoring and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, or comparable tools
  • Manage build automation, source code, CI/CD, artifact repositories, workflow orchestration, and GitOps processes
  • Apply SRE practices and participate in incident management

Requirements:

  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining highly scalable, distributed, cloud-based CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions
  • Strong expertise implementing DevOps solutions end-to-end, including build automation, release management, and deployment pipelines in AWS/Azure
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible
  • Configuration management using Python/Java basics
  • Experience translating complex functional and technical requirements into detailed CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure designs
  • Knowledge of blue-green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies
  • Experience with cloud security, IAM roles, secrets management, and access-control design
  • Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration
  • Proficiency with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk
  • Strong AWS hands-on expertise with Python/Bash/Shell scripting
  • Mandatory experience with Maven, Gradle, or npm
  • Strong experience with AWS/Azure compute services including EC2, ECS, and EKS, and storage services including S3, EBS, and EFS
  • Experience with artifact/package repositories such as Nexus, Artifactory, or Amazon ECR
  • Troubleshooting and performance-tuning experience across build, deployment, and production environments
  • Experience with Airflow or a similar workflow/orchestration tool
  • Knowledge of application DevOps tools, Git, and CI/CD frameworks; experience with Jenkins or GitLab and source-code management tools such as AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeCommit
  • Experience with AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, AWS Account Config, and AWS Config Rules
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure provisioning, migration processes, and project lifecycle
  • Experience implementing SRE practices and incident management
  • Experience with service mesh and observability tools such as Istio, Datadog, or New Relic
  • Knowledge of Python
  • Experience working in offshore/onsite engagements
  • Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or FluxCD
  • Experience with AWS Step Functions and Lambda for automation
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
