Job Description
DevOps Engineer developing and managing CI/CD pipelines using cloud technologies at FICO. Collaborating with development teams to optimize performance on Kubernetes and ensure security in cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD or similar tools
- Implement and maintain observability solutions (monitoring, logging, tracing) for Kubernetes-based data-intensive applications
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployments and performance on Kubernetes
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using AWS services and tools
- Ensure security and compliance with the cloud infrastructure
Requirements:
- Proven experience building and operating data-intensive, containerized applications on Kubernetes
- Proficient with AWS services such as EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, and ECR
- Solid understanding of observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana, along with security best practices in cloud and Kubernetes environments
- Skilled in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, GitHub Workflows)
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CrossPlane, AWS ACK)
- Experience with Helm and ArgoCD for managing deployments and building CD pipelines
- Exposure to the Kubernetes Operator pattern, Kustomize, and service mesh technologies such as Istio and Envoy is a plus.
