Job Description
DevOps Engineer focused on SRE practices at a booming Fintech, improving performance and reliability. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a remote-friendly environment.
Responsibilities:
- Evangelize and simplify SRE practices across our engineering organization (300+ engineers).
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve reliability and performance — not just react to incidents.
- Define and evolve performance, metrics and observability standards (SLIs/SLOs, monitoring frameworks, alerting strategies).
- Scale production resources efficiently while ensuring resilience and cost awareness.
- Design, implement and continuously improve tooling and monitoring systems.
- Contribute to engineering guidelines and best practices for reliability and production excellence.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Backend, Security and Platform stakeholders to embed reliability by design.
Requirements:
- Experience working in cloud environments (we use AWS).
- Building and evolving observability and monitoring systems (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk or similar).
- Experience scaling production systems and web applications, including asynchronous job systems.
- Experience operating in high-growth or product-led environments.
- Ability to influence engineering teams and drive reliability practices at scale.
Benefits:
- Work remotely from anywhere in Europe, provided your contract allows it.
- Competitive compensation package.
- Equity — company shares so you can share in the success you help build.
- Home office setup budget and a monthly allowance for coworking spaces.
- Access to 8,000 fitness locations in Europe and 300+ wellness activities through our partner Gymlib.
- Access to Busuu to improve your English or French.
- Latest Apple equipment.
- Join a vibrant social community: regular sports (football, running, climbing...), rooftop after-work drinks on Thursdays, and biannual company retreats (recently Center Parcs).
- Option to work fully from home, any co-working space in France, or from our central Paris office.
- Between 8 and 13 additional days off (on top of the standard 25) each year.
- Meal credits (Swile card) for daily lunches.
- Excellent healthcare coverage (Alan Blue) for you and your family.
