Job Description

Editorial leader building Agility Robotics’ media presence and global narrative around commercially deployed humanoid robots. Translating complex robotics innovation into trusted, multi-format content.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the global editorial strategy and position Agility Robotics as an authority on humanoid robotics, the future of physical labor, and deploying technology at scale
  • Build a destination media presence across the owned site and digital channels
  • Translate complex technical concepts into engaging content explaining humanoid technology and Agility’s advantages
  • Develop cross-functional relationships with internal subject matter experts, external consultants, strategic partners, and suppliers to identify insights and story angles
  • Write, edit, and oversee written, video, and audio content, including essays, technical explainers, customer case studies, clips, newsletters, and industry reports
  • Maintain the content calendar and coordinate with Creative, Comms, Demand Gen, and Product Marketing across social, video, podcast, newsroom, and customer channels
  • Implement AI-assisted editorial research, production, and distribution workflows
  • Recruit, manage, and mentor content strategists and creatives, supplemented by external contributors
  • Determine success metrics, manage optimization tests, and report on results and next steps

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of editorial leadership experience
  • Proven track record leading an in-house editorial function at a tech company that treats content as a product or at a media/tech publication
  • Exceptional editorial taste and judgment
  • Reporter’s instincts and high technical fluency
  • Ability to incorporate AI into the editorial process without over-reliance or sacrificing quality
  • Mastery of modern content ecosystems, including web, newsletters, social, video, and distribution loops
  • Experience shaping an editorial function, introducing lightweight processes, managing freelance networks, and maintaining a high publication cadence under ambitious deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize ruthlessly and create structure and clarity for teams
