Job Description

Healthcare transformation director launching specialty pharmacy programs for health systems. Leading consulting, change management, implementation programs, executive engagement, and site-team readiness.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as executive owner and primary accountability point for complex specialty pharmacy implementation engagements across leading health systems
  • Advise C-suite, VP, and Director-level stakeholders on operational, organizational, and strategic decisions
  • Build long-term executive relationships supporting implementation success and partnership growth
  • Assess current-state operations and identify improvements to workflows, staffing models, patient experience, and program performance
  • Lead future-state operating model design and implementation across clinical, pharmacy, operational, and administrative stakeholders
  • Apply change management methodologies to drive alignment, adoption, and sustainable outcomes
  • Develop and execute project plans, workstreams, milestones, and governance structures across concurrent implementations
  • Identify risks, remove obstacles, and drive accountability across internal and client teams
  • Lead executive steering committee meetings, project reviews, and operational status discussions
  • Use data-driven analysis and structured problem-solving to address implementation challenges and optimize performance
  • Develop recommendations and action plans balancing strategic objectives with practical execution
  • Coordinate initiatives across operations, technology, analytics, human resources, training, marketing, and clinical stakeholders
  • Influence teams without direct authority and provide coaching and leadership to implementation team members and site staff
  • Create presentations, business cases, implementation roadmaps, operational analyses, and executive communications
  • Present recommendations and progress updates to senior healthcare leaders
  • Lead workforce planning and staffing strategy for newly launched programs
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and development for operational readiness
  • Serve as interim site leadership during critical implementation and go-live periods

Requirements:

  • 5–8+ years of consulting, transformation, implementation, or healthcare operations experience
  • Experience leading large-scale, client-facing engagements with executive stakeholders
  • Experience managing multiple complex workstreams in fast-paced environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and executive communication skills
  • Advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and executive presentation capabilities
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, drive change, and deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50%+
  • Solid computer skills required, including Microsoft Office: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to navigate the internet and web-based platforms
  • Data entry and computer skills will be evaluated through a pre-employment assessment
