Job Description
World Vision grant manager strengthening church-based disaster response readiness across the U.S. Overseeing compliance, reporting, partner capacity, and grant implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Build and sustain disaster response readiness across a national network of church partners
- Oversee implementation of the grant-funded initiative, including grant compliance, monitoring, reporting, outcome tracking, and relationship management
- Coordinate project start-up with church partners and key stakeholders
- Coordinate training, onboarding, practical capacity support, and ongoing engagement with church hubs and supporting partners
- Manage timelines, deliverables, budgets, documentation, staffing/consulting needs, and project activities within the approved grant scope
- Track tasks, milestones, partner engagement, monitoring data, outcomes, grant reporting, and required documentation
- Monitor partner readiness, program progress, compliance status, and outcomes; identify risks and coordinate solutions
- Maintain communication with church hubs, partners, donor representatives, internal teams, and US Programs leadership
- Prepare and submit reports and documentation covering progress, outcomes, compliance, readiness, risks, corrective actions, promising practices, and lessons learned
- Monitor resource utilization, budget activity, partner readiness, compliance, and progress against grant deliverables
- Support technical assistance, safeguarding, operational guidance, tools, grant files, audit readiness, amendments, and corrective actions
- Coordinate grant close-out, final reports, evaluations, and dissemination of lessons learned
- Conduct field visits and support acquisition activities, proposal reviews, and follow-on opportunities
- Perform other assigned duties and follow organizational policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in program/project management, grant management or compliance, monitoring and reporting, disaster response or capacity development
- Experience with faith-based, nonprofit, community, or relief and development partners preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, relationship management, documentation, problem-solving, and coordination skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. for any employer
- Up to 25% domestic travel
- Christian conduct and active participation in organizational spiritual disciplines
