Job Description
Mentor Educacional supporting students in Back-End Development using Node (Express) and PostgreSQL. Focus on engaging with students through practical applications and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Support students with varying levels of knowledge;
- Translate technical content into simple, practical explanations;
- Deliver classes exclusively via synchronous remote learning (live online);
- Guide students in solving exercises;
- Clarify doubts about logic, REST APIs, Node, OOP, the Express library, database modeling, and relational databases with PostgreSQL;
- Encourage analytical thinking and student autonomy;
- Maintain class engagement and adapt the approach to the participants' pace.
Requirements:
- High school diploma;
- 6 months of practical experience in back-end REST API development;
- Presentation of an IT project portfolio with 2 case studies;
- Desirable: technical English;
- Proficiency in Programming Logic;
- Knowledge of version control tools;
- Advanced knowledge of Node.js;
- Advanced knowledge of REST APIs;
- Advanced knowledge of relational database modeling;
- Advanced knowledge of SQL with PostgreSQL;
- Knowledge of design patterns;
- Knowledge of Clean Architecture concepts;
- Knowledge of unit testing;
- Knowledge of Docker and Cloud platforms;
