Job Description
Electrical Supervisor leading Dematic material-handling equipment installations across the United States. Ensuring site quality, safety, reporting, trials, and subcontractor training.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure installation quality on project sites, including manufacturing and subcontractor work
- Complete quality checklists and submit corrective actions when discrepancies are identified
- Maintain on-site safety, including performing safety audits and enforcing standards
- Assist with routine equipment trial runs to verify specifications and accurate installation per Dematic standards
- Provide on-site reporting on schedule, resources, and project status to project leads and/or customers
- Train and support contract labor and subcontractors in the installation of Dematic and other material handling equipment
- Write clear, concise, and timely trip reports according to Dematic procedures
- Identify and resolve on-site problems
- Perform physical tasks as needed, including pushing, pulling, crawling, squatting, and lifting at least 50 lbs.
Requirements:
- 7+ years’ experience in troubleshooting electrical equipment
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
- Must have a vehicle, work tools and valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, off-shifts, and overtime as needed
- Service experience with AGVs, AS/RS, or conveyors
- Experience in quality assurance and adherence to installation standards
- Ability to obtain OSHA 30 certification
- Proficient with personal computers, spreadsheets, and weekly status reporting
- Willing to travel 100%
