Job Description
Embedded Software Engineer developing software for Boeing’s advanced air vehicles. Collaborating with engineers to create reusable, high-performance software across various platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, debug and maintain software that is integrated into embedded devices
- Analyze and translate customer requirements into software products
- Build and write code for embedded systems software to run on specialized hardware
- Integrate embedded software with hardware components
- Analyze and improve the efficiency and stability of embedded software systems
- Test and debug software for embedded devices
- Advise on software and hardware integration
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in programming languages such as C, C++, Python or Java
- 3+ years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- 2+ years of experience writing embedded software
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Knowledge of specification format requirements
- Ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions
