Job Description
Engineering Sales Specialist developing and maintaining relationships with municipalities in the water and wastewater sector. Utilizing marketing strategies and promoting sales solutions for effective sales potential.
Responsibilities:
- Expand on existing relationships with end users, contractors and engineers while building lasting relationships with new accounts.
- Provide engineers and end users a professional level of product promotion/selection, support and follow up to ensure projects are successful and to maximize sales revenue.
- Be self-motivated to setup meetings, product promotion events and relationship building activities to maintain frequent contact with your customer base.
- Attend product training seminars and participate in local industry associations and tradeshows.
- Travel to represented companies for training on an as-needed basis.
Requirements:
- We are looking for someone with at least 4 years’ sales experience
- Water/ Wastewater industry experience is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills; both verbal and written
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or military experience with 4 years professional experience.
- Located in upstate New York, preferably Albany, Syracuse, or Binnington areas
- Great organizational and relationship skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 and familiarity with CRM systems
