Job Description
Mid Level/Senior Developer in AI at CI&T transforming businesses with AI solutions. Engaging in complex tasks and engineering workflows in the financial sector.
Responsibilities:
- Work across the entire development lifecycle (design → build → test → deploy → operate) supported by AI
- Use agents and automations to execute multi-step tasks
- Structure inputs (prompts, specs) to guide and control AI
- Integrate with engineering tools: Git, CI/CD, observability
- Assess the quality and security of AI-generated outputs
- Understand the architecture behind AI-generated solutions, not just operate the tools
Requirements:
- Strong experience in software development and the SDLC
- Hands-on technical expertise in at least one language and stack (e.g., Java, Python, .NET, Node.js, TypeScript). AI should augment solid engineering skills, not replace them
- Ability to understand and explain code and architecture produced by AI
- Practical use of AI in development: code generation, testing, debugging
- Familiarity with automations or agents
- Ability to structure clear instructions for AI
- Nice to have / Preferred:
- Knowledge of the AI-DLC methodology and its application within the development lifecycle
- Building multi-step agents with tool usage and planning
- Workflow orchestration
- MCP or similar patterns
- Spec-driven development
