Job Description
Data Analyst responsible for designing BI solutions and improving data governance. Collaborating on a global strategic project for data governance best practices.
Responsibilities:
- If you are passionate about data, governance, and developing high-impact analytical solutions, this opportunity is for you!
- You will be responsible for reviewing the company’s entire BI environment, proposing improvements, defining standards, and building a scalable analytics platform. You will work directly on a strategic global project focused on Data Governance Framework implementation.
- Assess the current BI environment (models, performance, adoption, and best practices);
- Design and develop robust, scalable semantic models;
- Build executive dashboards using Power BI;
- Define governance standards for workspaces, datasets, and analytical models;
- Implement security best practices, including RLS and sensitivity labels;
- Optimize performance using DAX, Power Query (M), and VertiPaq;
- Work on integration between Power BI and Databricks (DirectQuery and Delta Sharing);
- Prepare technical recommendations for the evolution of the BI architecture;
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, leading a complete review of the environment and proposing improvements.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Power BI;
- Expertise in Semantic Modeling;
- Advanced DAX skills;
- Power Query (M);
- Performance optimization (VertiPaq, aggregations, and large data volumes);
- Power BI Service (Workspaces, Deployment Pipelines, Gateways, and RLS);
- Experience with Databricks (DirectQuery and Delta Sharing);
- Knowledge of UX for dashboards and Self-Service Analytics;
- Ability to work independently, conducting analyses and proposing improvements across the BI environment;
- Advanced/Fluent English for regular conversations with global teams.
