Job Description
AI Safety Specialist reviewing English conversations and evaluating AI responses for Mercor. Applying guidelines and structured feedback to help train frontier AI systems.
Responsibilities:
- Review short English-language conversations
- Read user prompts and AI responses
- Evaluate how well AI responses address user requests
- Apply appropriate labels using project guidelines
- Work independently and carefully across assigned batches
- Submit structured feedback
- Participate in projects focused on training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- Strong English reading comprehension
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow written instructions
- Prior review or annotation experience is helpful but not required
- Must work as an independent contractor
- Must be unable to require H1-B or STEM OPT sponsorship/support
- Must review short English-language conversations and evaluate AI responses according to written guidelines
