Job Description
Escalator Engineer maintaining and repairing escalators across Greater London transport hubs. Supporting safe, reliable operation for Stannah’s lift and mobility-equipment business.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair a range of escalator systems across Greater London's rail and transport hubs
- Service, maintain, and repair escalators and moving walkways across major rail and underground sites
- Work on KONE TM, RTV and RTK units, Schindler 9300 escalators, Anlev systems, and Otis 506 NCE equipment
- Perform fault-finding across mechanical and electrical systems
- Conduct maintenance, repairs, and callouts on escalators and moving walkways from various manufacturers
- Ensure high standards of service delivery, safety, and customer care
- Perform risk assessments and maintain site log cards during every visit
- Work across Greater London, including Gatwick Airport and Stansted Airport stations
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience working on escalators and moving walkways
- Valid UK driving license is essential
- Experienced escalator engineer living within the M25
- Appropriate right to work must be held by applicants
- Sponsorship is not available
