Job Description
Escalator Engineer maintaining and repairing escalators and moving walkways for Stannah, a global lifts and access-equipment manufacturer. Covering Greater London rail, underground and airport transport sites.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair escalators and moving walkways across Greater London's rail, transport and underground sites
- Conduct maintenance, repairs and callouts on escalators and moving walkways from various manufacturers
- Service KONE TM, RTV and RTK units, Schindler 9300 escalators, Anlev systems and Otis 506 NCE equipment
- Ensure safe and reliable operation in high-profile, safety-critical environments
- Ensure high standards of service delivery, safety and customer care
- Perform effective risk assessments
- Maintain site log cards during every visit
- Work across Greater London, including Gatwick Airport station and Stansted Airport station
- Work 7:00–19:00 on a 4-on, 4-off pattern with 12-hour shifts and a 45-minute unpaid break
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience working on escalators and moving walkways
- Valid UK driving license is essential
- Experienced escalator engineer living within the M25
- Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems
- Appropriate right to work must be held by applicants
- Sponsorship is not available
