Job Description
Escalator Engineer maintaining and repairing escalators across London rail stations, airport links and transport hubs. Supporting safe, reliable passenger infrastructure for Stannah, a family-owned engineering manufacturer.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, service and repair escalators and moving walkways across rail stations, airport links and major transport hubs throughout Greater London
- Conduct maintenance, repairs and callouts on escalators and moving walkways from various manufacturers
- Ensure high standards of service delivery, safety and customer care
- Perform effective risk assessments
- Maintain site log cards during every visit
- Work on KONE TM, RTV and RTK units, Schindler 9300 escalators, Anlev systems and Otis 506 NCE equipment
- Work night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 on a 4-on, 4-off pattern, with 12-hour shifts and a 45-minute unpaid break
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering
- Proven experience working on escalators and moving walkways
- Valid UK driving license is essential
- Experienced escalator engineer with a solid technical background
- Living within the M25
- Appropriate right to work must be held by applicants
- Sponsorship is not available
